UK Field Trial Results

2010' field of competitors - The contestants in this year's upcoming UK National Fieldtrial Championship have been posted.  Clarburgh Art has directly produced 25% of the qualifiers this year.  He has indirectly produced many more as several of his offspring are producing their own champions now.  The event will be held on the 11th, 12th & 13th of January 2010 at the Glenarm Estate in Northern Ireland.  We always wait in anticipation for the results as Clarburgh Art is the sire of our own Rosebay Sam, a product of Aubrey Ladyman's Rosebay line.  We will post the results here as soon as we have them.

15 Jan 09' "UPDATE"  The results of the 09' UK National Field Trial Championships are in (completed last weekend).  Clarburgh Art was well represented again this year (our stud's sire).  30% of the competition was sired by Art.  Even more noteworthy is the fact that three of the contenders are littermates to our Sam, Rosebay Nectar, Crytal & Camille.  Thirteen others that competed are half siblings of Sam's on his sire's side (Art).  The real excitement of the day for us was the fact that 1st & 2nd places were taken by Rosebay Bella & Rosebay Blossom.  Bella was also chosen best bitch and best hunting spaniel.  This a real testament to the Rosebay line.  Congratulations to Mr. Aubrey Ladyman for his outstanding accomplishments with his breeding program!

We are very proud to have one of his pups here in our kennel!

23 Jan 08 "UPDATE"  The results of the 08' UK National Field Trial Championship are in (just finished this afternoon).  1st FTCh Clover Amethyst,  2nd FTCh Broomfield Rosie, 3rd FTCh Rosebay Blossom, 4th FTCh Belvden Collingwood.  FTCH Rosebay Blossom is a half sister to our stud Sam.  Diplomas of Merit were awarded to 14 dogs including FTCH Rosebay Nectar and FTCH Rosebay Tara, Sam's littermates, and FTCH Rosebay Bella, a half sister to Sam, also was awarded a Diploma of Merit as well as the Gun's Choice award.  Congratulations to all and we look forward to seeeing the trial on video once it is out.

30 Dec 07 "UPDATE" The results of the 07' Irish Field Trial Championship are in (held just yesterday, 29 Dec 07).  Again, UK FTCH Clarburgh Art had a banner day.  FTCH Annickview Breeze, the 05' and 07' UK National Champion is now the 07' Irish Champion as well.  Breeze is out of UK FTCH Clarburgh Art.  Second and third place were won by 04' UK National FTCH Annickview Anna and Buccleuch Charm respectively.  These two contestants were sired by 01' UK National FTCH Steadroc Sker.  Sker is the son of Clarburgh Art...  yes, that's right, champions producing champions.  Fourth place was taken by Kidnais Blunder of Spriggans, an Art pup as well.  Congratulations to all!  If it appears that Art has the most sought after genetics in the UK it would be because it is true.  He has not only produced most of the champions in the past seven years, he has produced a huge number of their competition as well.  We are extremely pleased to have his genetics over here in our Rosebay Sam.

10 Dec 07 "UPDATE" The results of the 07' UK Spaniel    Championship hosted by the Duke of Buccleuch, in Scotland are in.  Annickview Breeze, the 05' National Champion, is now the   07' Champion as well.  CONGRATULATIONS!  2nd, 3rd and 4th were Woodstorm Averil, Rosebay Blossom and Craighaar Holly respectively.  We were very exicited to see Sam's Dam, Holly, place.  We were even more thrilled to see that Annickview Breeze & Woodstorm Averil both share the same sire, Clarburgh  Art!  Rosebay Blossom, 3rd runner up, is an Art/Holly pup.  That's right, a full sibling.  FANTASTIC!  Well done all!
